Following a resounding victory in the assembly elections, preparations for the formation of the new government in the state have been completed. Vijay's swearing-in ceremony is being viewed as a significant turning point in Tamil Nadu politics.

Saturday is set to be a historic day for Tamil Nadu. TVK chief Vijay will take the oath of office as Chief Minister tomorrow morning at 11:00 AM, thereby giving the state a new Chief Minister. Late on Friday evening, the state's Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, extended an invitation to him to form the government. Following a meeting held at the Governor's residence, Vijay accepted this historic responsibility. According to sources, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi may also attend the Chief Minister's swearing-in ceremony.
