Auto News: Mahindra & Mahindra has finally unveiled its four all-new Vision Concept SUVs, which are based on the brand's new NU IQ modular monocoque platform. Production-ready versions of these SUVs will start arriving in 2027. Although the automaker has not yet revealed the full details of each model, the Mahindra Vision S Concept is likely to join the Scorpio family. It is being speculated that this concept could be of the next-generation Scorpio, the Scorpio EV, or a compact SUV based on the Scorpio.
This car competes with the Hyundai Creta and the upcoming Tata Sierra. It is expected that the company may soon give official information about the Mahindra SUV. In the meantime, let us tell you whatever information we have about this car.
The Mahindra Vision S is based on the NU IQ platform, which comes with a powerful powertrain, so the product-ready variant could be offered with both ICE and electric powertrain options. Visually, the Vision S concept looks like a baby Land Rover Defender, with an upright stance and strong styling elements.
Mahindra's signature logo at the front, a triple set of vertical LED lights on both sides, a massive black bumper, inverted L-shaped headlamps, and pixel-shaped fog lamps give it a powerful look. The concept also gets roof-mounted lights, a roof ladder on the curb side, and a jerrycan, which further enhance its off-road look.
Other design changes include 19-inch tires, wheel arches, thick black cladding around the entire car, flush-fitting door handles, inverted L-shaped taillights, rear bumper reflectors, a tailgate-mounted spare wheel, and pixel lights on the rear bumper. The Mahindra Vision S Concept features a flat-bottom steering wheel with 'Vision S' in the middle and mounted control buttons, a dashboard-integrated touchscreen infotainment system, and a digital driver display. This SUV concept also features dual-tone upholstery and a panoramic sunroof.
