New TVS Raider Launching Soon: 5 Major Upgrades You Must Know (X)
Auto News: India's popular two-wheeler manufacturer TVS Motor is going to introduce its TVS Raider 125 with new updates. This time the biggest change in the bike is the inclusion of single-channel ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System). This feature will only work on the front wheel, so that the wheel will not be locked even when applying a sudden brake and the rider will get better control. Along with this, rear disc brakes have also been added to the bike. The old model used to get only rear drum brakes, but now the rear disc brake would make the braking performance much better. Both these changes have been made to increase the safety of the bike and will make the ride more secure.
The new model of TVS Raider 125 has dual-tone red color and contrast white strips. The front wheel will also be red painted, which gives the bike a more sporty and attractive look. However, the TFT display found in the top-spec SX variants will not be found in this model and instead the old LCD instrument cluster will be used only. In this display, the rider will get the necessary information like speed, fuel level, trip meter and gear position easily. In the language of design, the new Raider will come with agressive style and muscular fuel tank just like the old model.
The new TVS Raider has more wide tires than the old model. The size of the front tire will be 90 sections and 110 sections of rear tires, while in the old model it was 80 and 100 sections respectively. This will increase the straight line stability of the bike and get better handling while riding or turning.
A new variant can also be introduced in the new Raider. Currently, the bike is available in SX, SSE, iG., Split Seat, Single Seat and Drum variants. The new variants may include ABS and rear disc brakes. These changes will make the bike more attractive in terms of safety and features.
The current ex-showroom price of TVS Raider starts from Rs 80,500, while the top-spec SX variant costs up to Rs 94,500. With new ABS and rear disc brakes, this bike can be available at the price around SX variants. The company has not yet officially announced the launch date, but it is believed that it will be available in India soon.
The new TVS raider 125 has become more secure, stylish and sporty than the old model with its ABS, rear disc brakes, new dual-tone color and wide tires. This updated bike will prove to be a better option for riders who want modern features with safety, handling and style.
