NTA Releases Revised Exam Calendar, Check New Dates For UGC NET, JEE Main And Other Exams

New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released a revised calendar for examinations scheduled from December 2026 to April 2027. It includes tentative dates for 13 entrance and eligibility exams, including the UGC NET, CSIR-UGC NET, JEE Main , and CUET. The calendar also includes dates for SWAYAM, the NIFT entrance exam, the Sainik School entrance exam, and the CMAT.

According to the NTA's notice, the exam calendar has been revised for administrative reasons. The new calendar will replace the previously released calendar. Candidates preparing for the exam are advised to plan their preparations according to the new dates. NTA Exam Calendar 2026-27: Complete schedule of exams

UGC NET and CSIR-UGC NET dates

The UGC NET December session exam is proposed to be held from December 14 to 18 and December 21, 2026. The Joint CSIR-UGC NET exam is scheduled for December 19, 22, and 27, 2026. Candidates preparing for these exams should plan their studies according to the revised calendar.

When will the JEE Main and CUET PG exams be held?

The tentative dates for the first session of the JEE Main exam for engineering admissions are January 20 to 24 and January 28, 2027. The second session is proposed to be held from April 2 to 7, 2027. Meanwhile, the CUET PG exam will be held in several phases in March 2027. Its schedule begins on March 2nd and continues until March 31st. The tentative date for the CMAT exam for admission to management courses is February 7th, 2027. Students should note that the dates listed in the NTA calendar are tentative. These dates may change due to administrative, academic, legal, logistical, or other circumstances.
