SSC Constable GD Result 2026: Merit List Expected Soon, Know How To Download

New Delhi: SSC Constable GD Result 2026 is expected to be released anytime soon. Candidates who appeared for the SSC Constable GD exam 2026 will be able to check and download their results from the official website of the exam. SSC GD Constable examination 2026 was conducted throughout the country between 27 April and 30 April 2026. Many candidates appeared for the exam. The provisional answer key was released on 15 June. Candidates were given the chance to raise queries till 20 August. The result of the SSC GD Constable examination is most awaited. On August 3, the results of the Junior Engineer and MTS Constable exam were released. This has increased the hope among candidates waiting for the SSC GD result.

In which format will the result be announced?

The result will be available on its official website, ssc.gov.in, in a PDF format. The candidates can check their roll numbers in the merit list. No personal result will be given to any candidate.

What are the steps to download the merit list?

Step 1: Candidates are required to visit the official website of SSC, ssc.gov.in. 
Step 2: Click on the PDF link of the result on the home page of the website.
Step 3: After downloading the merit list, check your roll number in the merit list.
Step 4: The candidates whose roll numbers are in this merit list have cleared the written test and can appear in the physical test.

SSC will also release the category-wise cutoffs. The candidates clearing this cutoff can appear for the physical test in the next round. 

What are the physical test requirements to clear the physical test?

Height requirements
Men- minimum 170 cms
Women- minimum 157 cms
ST men- minimum 162.5 cms
ST women- minimum 150 cms

Chest measurement (Male)
Un-expanded: 76 cms
Expanded: 81 cms

The reserved candidates have been granted some relaxation in height and chest measurements.

Running requirements (Men)
5 kilometres- under 24 minutes
1600 metres- under 7 minutes

Running requirements (Women)
1.6 kilometres- under 8.5 minutes
800 metres- under 5 minutes

After qualifying for the physical test, candidates will undergo a medical test. All the fit candidates will be inducted for 25487 posts.
