Trisha Krishnan Drops Heartfelt Post For Vijay, Shuts Down Unfollow Speculation

New Delhi: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Thalapathy Vijay turned 52 on June 22. The actor-turned-politician was receiving congratulations from across the country, but unlike previous years actress Trisha Krishnan didn't greet him, which sparked discussion as some social media users claimed that she had unfollowed him on Instagram. 

However, on Tuesday evening, Trisha put an end to all these rumors with a sweet message.

What did Trisha post?

Vijay celebrated his 52nd birthday with Trisha, and she gave fans a glimpse of the celebration. Taking to Instagram, the actress posted a picture showing the actor-politician smiling brightly while wearing a printed shirt. Trisha, beaming, seems unable to take her eyes off him. To make the day even more memorable, not one or two, but five cakes were placed in front of him.

Her caption read, "To the person who makes it all worth it, HBD 00.00"

Trisha also wrote 00.00 along with a sparkle emoji, perhaps indicating that the celebration she posted took place at 12 am on June 22.

Do Trisha wish Vijay every year?

For the past few years, Trisha has been wishing Vijay on his birthday by posting pictures of them together on social media. In 2023, during the shooting of Lokesh Kanagaraj's film "Leo," she posted a picture of herself and Vijay taken in a snowy location and captioned it, "HBD you!", along with cake, heart, infinity, and evil eye emojis. The film reunited them after many years.

In 2024, the actress posted a mirror selfie that broke the internet. She wrote, "The calm after the storm, the storm after the calm!" May many more achievements come along with cake, balloon, heart, infinity, and evil eye emojis. 

In 2025, she posted a photo of Vijay playing with their pet and wrote, "Happy Birthday Bestest," along with hug and evil eye emojis.

Are Trisha and Vijay dating?

While fans were upset that Trisha didn't post for Vijay, some pointed out that she had posted a day later in 2024. And it seems their guess was correct. Rumors of Trisha and Vijay dating have been circulating for quite some time.
