New Delhi: Lock Upp 2 contestant Shivangi Joshi shared yet another secret on the show. Shivangi is a well-known television actress and is known for her roles in serials like 'Barsat', 'Bade Ache Lagte Hain 2' and 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai'. Currently, the actress can be seen as a contestant in the reality show Lock Upp 2. In the latest episode of the show, Shivangi revealed two of her life secrets on the show, which shocked people. 

What was the first secret Shivangi shared on the show?

Shivangi shared that her family had to face financial problems during her childhood. Her father had to sell most of the things to repay his business loss, which made her life tough during childhood. Shivangi also said that her family could afford bread and butter only for her.

What was the painful story Shivangi revealed about her childhood?

Shivangi said that her maternal uncle, who was considered a brother by her mother, molested her in her childhood. According to Shivangi, this incident happened when she wanted to come to Mumbai for acting. Her uncle took advantage of her and used to tell her that if she was going to Mumbai, then she must know how to do fake driving. Then he would make her sit in his lap, which made her uncomfortable, so she said that she did not want to learn driving.

Further, she said that her uncle tried multiple times to molest her. One day he even came to her house when she was alone and started explaining to her that she must be ready to do all kinds of scenes.

Shivangi claimed that her uncle was telling her to be ready for intimate scenes while acting. She said that he even tried to kiss her on the pretext of acting, but she pushed his face with her hand, which made him angry. Her parents came to her rescue when her tried to attack her.

After that incident, Shivangi could not even step out of her house or attend school. Her mother felt very scared for her and was worried that someone could exploit her. Her parents are very protective of her after that incident.
