International News: Beijing became the center of attention of the world today when China organized a grand Victory Day parade on the 80th anniversary of victory over Japan in World War II. In the parade, China displayed such military and strategic capabilities that it directly sent a message to the US and Western countries.

The presence of Putin and Kim attracted attention

The presence of Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean supreme leader Kim Jong Un in this historic parade was the most talked about. Along with the two leaders, heads of state and prime ministers of more than 25 countries, including Iran, Belarus, and Pakistan, also participated.

China's 'Power Show'

In the parade that lasted about 70 minutes, 40,000 Chinese soldiers were seen marching. More than 100 fighter planes flew in the sky. Hypersonic missiles, state-of-the-art tanks, and missile defense systems were demonstrated on the ground. During this, President Xi Jinping called it a "national pride" and emphasized China's global role.

Indirect challenge to America

Experts believe that China has given a clear signal through this event that it is not alone. The presence of anti-US countries like Russia, North Korea, and Iran further strengthened this message. China also appeared to be trying to lead the Global South through this parade.

Significance of Kim Jong's visit

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un's visit to China has taken place after six years. This is his first foreign visit after 2019, and for the first time, he became a part of a multilateral diplomatic program. Analysts believe that this is a big signal for America, and this can further strengthen the China-Russia-North Korea triangular cooperation.

Who participated, who did not

Countries like Russia, Belarus, Iran, Pakistan, Nepal, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, and Cuba actively participated in this parade, showing China's strength. In contrast, India, Turkey, Sri Lanka, Egypt, and Afghanistan did not participate in the event.
