Benjamin Netanyahu met with Donald Trump: US President Donald Trump thanked Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for agreeing to a 20-point peace plan for Gaza. Trump warned the Palestinian group Hamas that if they reject the agreement, Israel will receive America's full support in destroying the terrorist organization.

Trump is ensuring peace in Gaza

During a meeting with Netanyahu at the White House, Trump said, "Israel has my full support in eliminating the Hamas threat. I hope we will reach a peace agreement. If Hamas rejects this agreement, they will be left alone. All other parties have accepted it, and I believe we will receive a positive response."

Trump told reporters after the meeting that the US is "very close" to ensuring peace in the Gaza war. He said, "We are very close to resolving issues that have been simmering for hundreds of years. I want to thank Bibi for reaching out and working on this."

Key Details of the 20-Point Plan

According to this plan, the war will end immediately with the consent of both sides. The Israeli army will maintain its positions until the last hostages held by Hamas are released. A ceasefire will remain in effect during this initial period.

The plan states that Hamas militants will be completely disarmed and excluded from any future government roles. However, groups that will be ready for peace and coexistence will be forgiven. Trump reiterated on the occasion that this initiative towards peace is an important step and a permanent solution in Gaza is possible only with the cooperation of both sides.
