France: Canada Prime Minister Mark Carney made the statement upon the participation of India in the emerging global forums. He lauded that the G-7 is not worth enough to rule the world in the current scenario.

Noting that, France is hosting the 52nd G7 Summit on Tuesday at Hôtel Royal, Evian Resort, 960 Avenue du Léman, 74500 Évian-les-Bains, France. This time, the guest nations such as India, Brazil, Egypt, Kenya, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Syria, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates (UAE) along with seven of its permanent members are participating.

Carney highlighted the relevance of guest nations and lauded that these countries will be the example of 'Broader Perspective and Inclusive Solutions' in the global forums.

What are the possible discussion in the G7?

According to the reports, the possible discussions in the 52nd G-7 Summit can be the global economic stability and trade, Energy conservation and Net Zero Transition, Health related protections, Conflicts in the Ukrain and West Asia region, Use of AI and it's regulation.

Carney showed the concern upon AI Technology, and warned that the field is unregulated in the global forums. He added that the general parameters, preventive measures, directories will be one of the core priority of the discussion so that the potential risks could be controlled.

What Carney had said?

Carney stated that the solutions for the economic instability, climate change, health protection, and geopolitical tensions can only possible with the inclusion of beyond G-7 existing structure.
Might have G-7 ruled the nations in economic terms, but the dynamics have been changed. If G7 still wants to rule the world then its just showing off.
