International News:  Congress leader Rahul Gandhi recently posted on X, claiming Prime Minister Narendra Modi was afraid of US President Donald Trump. He alleged that Modi allows Trump to dictate India’s policies, including oil imports from Russia. Rahul said Modi sends congratulations repeatedly, ignores America’s interference, and does not oppose Trump’s stand on “Operation Sindoor.” His words were meant to portray Modi as weak on foreign policy.

Mary Millben strikes back strongly

American singer Mary Millben, known for her admiration of India and Modi, immediately responded. She told Rahul Gandhi bluntly that he was wrong. Millben said Modi does not fear Trump at all, but understands long-term diplomatic strategies. She argued that just as Trump always prioritizes America’s interests, Modi also takes decisions based only on India’s welfare. She praised such leadership as real statesmanship.

Leaders act in national interest

Millben stressed that heads of state are expected to act for their nation’s best interests, not for personal popularity. She said Rahul Gandhi lacks the vision to understand such leadership. According to her, Modi and Trump are strong leaders who defend their countries firmly. She added that it is unfair to claim Modi bends before Trump, because the Prime Minister knows how to balance diplomacy with strategy.

Gandhi’s qualification questioned by Millben

Going further, Millben questioned Rahul Gandhi’s suitability for leadership. She said Rahul does not have the skills to be Prime Minister of India. In a mocking tone, she asked him to return to his “I Hate India Tour,” saying he seems to perform only for himself. Her words created a storm in Indian political debate, where critics often question Rahul’s leadership credentials.

Millben’s bond with India

Mary Millben has a long association with India. She has performed Indian devotional songs like “Om Jai Jagdish Hare” and even sang the national anthem “Jana Gana Mana.” She often attends Indian celebrations and is well loved by audiences here. Over time, she has openly supported Modi’s policies and spoken warmly about India’s culture. Her comments therefore carry symbolic value in the India-US cultural space.

Rahul’s allegations lose weight

Millben’s remarks weaken the impact of Rahul Gandhi’s attack. While Rahul tried to paint Modi as submissive to America, Millben turned the narrative around, saying Modi is a strategic leader. She insisted Rahul neither understands diplomacy nor global politics. This exchange has now fueled political discussion, with supporters of Modi highlighting Millben’s comments as validation of India’s strong leadership.

Debate over Modi-Trump ties grows

The clash between Rahul Gandhi and Mary Millben has widened the debate on India’s relationship with the US. Modi’s supporters claim his diplomacy strengthens India’s global standing, while critics argue India risks dependency. Millben’s defense shows that even international voices recognize Modi’s leadership. As the political heat rises, this exchange has once again placed foreign policy at the center of India’s domestic politics.
