World News: In a recent social media post, Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and a close ally of President-elect Donald Trump, has intensified his criticism of billionaire and political activist George Soros. This comes in the wake of President Joe Biden awarding Soros the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian honor in the United States. Musk's remarks have reignited discussions about Soros's influence in political matters, particularly regarding foreign affairs.

Musk Challenges Legacy Media

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Musk expressed frustration with legacy media outlets, which he claims have been quick to criticize him for his opinions on foreign politics while remaining silent on Soros's long-standing involvement in these issues. "The media goes after me when I speak up on matters related to foreign politics but has remained soft and quiet over the years when Soros has been interfering in foreign politics for years," Musk stated.

This comment follows recent accusations by India's Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) against former Congress leader Sonia Gandhi, linking her to an organization funded by Soros that allegedly supports an independent Kashmir. The BJP's claims highlight concerns over foreign influence on India's internal affairs.

BJP's Allegations Against Sonia Gandhi

The BJP has been vocal about its belief that Sonia Gandhi’s connections to Soros-funded organizations reflect a troubling foreign influence on Indian politics. In their posts on X, they stated, “Sonia Gandhi, as the Co-President of the FDL-AP Foundation, is linked to an organization financed by the George Soros Foundation.”

They further alleged that this association undermines India’s sovereignty and political integrity. Moreover, BJP leaders have pointed out that Rahul Gandhi's press conference criticizing business tycoon Adani was live-streamed by a George Soros-funded organization, suggesting a deeper connection between the Congress party and Soros's financial interests.

Musk’s Strong Accusations Against Soros

On Wednesday, Musk escalated his rhetoric against Soros by alleging that his "hatred for humanity includes Israel." This statement was made in response to a report where Israeli Ambassador to the UN, Gilad Erdan, accused Soros of funding NGOs that support Hamas. Musk reiterated his stance by sharing this report and remarked, “George Soros's hatred of humanity includes Israel btw.”Musk has previously characterized recognition of Soros as a "travesty," claiming that he fundamentally despises humanity. His disdain for Soros has also manifested in memes where he likens him to Darth Sidious from Star Wars.
