International news: Protests were held in Britain against the ban imposed on the pro-Palestinian group. More than 365 people were arrested on Saturday for deliberately violating the law to pressure the government to reconsider this new ban. Parliament passed a law to ban the group called Palestine Action in early July.

Let us tell you that this ban was imposed because the activists of the group allegedly entered the British Air Force base and damaged two planes. The activists are protesting against Britain for supporting Israel's attacks against Hamas in Gaza.

Illegal restriction on freedom of expression

Supporters of the group say that freedom of expression has been illegally restricted under this law. More than 500 protesters gathered outside the Parliament building on Saturday, and many protesters challenged the police to arrest them, after which the police took action. The protesters were holding posters in their hands on which it was written, "I oppose genocide." I support Palestine action. Meanwhile, the police arrested more than 365 people.

Organizers Clash With London Police

After the demonstration ended, there was a debate between the organizers and the police on how many people were arrested. The organizers were saying that fewer people were arrested so that it could be shown that the law is useless. The police said that anyone who was holding a placard in support of Palestine Action was arrested. Defend Our Juries, which organized the demonstration, said that the police have been able to arrest only a few of the people who allegedly committed terrorism crimes, and most of them have been allowed to go home after getting bail.

London's Metropolitan Police retaliated

London's Metropolitan Police Service immediately countered the organizers' statement. Police said that this is not true. Most of the people gathered at the square were spectators, media personnel, or people who did not have placards in their hands in support of the group. Police said,

"We are confident that anyone who came to Parliament Square today carrying placards in support of Palestine Action has either been arrested or is in the process of being arrested." Police said that this demonstration was unusual because protesters wanted to be arrested in large numbers so that pressure could be put on the police and the wider criminal justice system.
