International News: Russia's nuclear power has always been a secret, but now for the first time the veil seems to be lifting from it. Amid the Ukraine war, a big revelation has been made about Putin's nuclear strategy. Foreign media investigation has revealed such confidential documents that have brought to the world the inside information about Russia's nuclear preparations and its bases. This revelation is not only increasing the concern of Western countries, but is also bringing Putin's military policy under question.

German media group Der Spiegel and Denmark's investigative agency Danwatch have jointly presented a major report, in which more than two million Russian military documents have been analyzed. These documents include maps of Russian nuclear missile bases, their internal structure, security arrangements and construction plans. It has been claimed that these documents contain accurate information about some of the most sensitive nuclear sites of the Russian army, which were kept secret till now.

11 big places revealed

The special thing is that the leaked documents also provide information about Russia's strategic missile base Yasny. It is located in the Orenburg region and missiles equipped with nuclear weapons can be launched from here. According to experts, Yasny is one such location where Russia's hypersonic glide vehicle Avangard is deployed. Journalists have claimed that apart from Yasny, plans of 10 other places are also recorded in the documents.

Control room maps also leaked

These documents contain information not only about the external structures but also about the tunnels inside the bases, control rooms, weapon storage areas and locations of security equipment. There is even a complete description of which buildings are connected to the tunnels. This has raised suspicion that there has been a major breach in Russia's security system. This report also revealed that the Putin government has been modernizing the old nuclear bases of the Soviet Union for a long time. At some places, completely new military complexes are being built. This includes new barracks, guard towers, command centers and underground tunnels. Experts believe that these preparations are part of Russia's hidden strategy, which it has been keeping hidden from Western countries.

Security experts considered it a big threat

Norwegian defense expert Tom Roseth said that this leak is a huge breach in Russia's security. He believes that this disclosure highlights the weaknesses and strengths of the entire nuclear system. At the same time, Hans Kristensen, director of the American Nuclear Information Project, says that it has now become easier to analyze these documents by combining satellite images, so that every activity of Russia can be closely monitored.

Questions raised on Putin's planning

This disclosure has shaken the global security equations. In 2018, Putin had announced a new nuclear weapon system, but these documents show that his real focus was on the expansion and modernization of nuclear bases. This situation has come to light at a time when Russia is constantly demonstrating its nuclear power due to the Ukraine war. In such a situation, this leak can become an alarm bell for Western countries.
