Ayodhya: Preparations for the flag hoisting ceremony to be held in Ayodhya today have been completed. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple today and hoist the saffron flag on the peak of the temple. Security has been tightened in Ayodhya regarding the program. The entire city has been converted into a high security zone. ATS, NSG, Cyber Unit, Dog Squad, the Anti-Drone System and 90 technical experts will be under surveillance. A total of 6970 security personnel have been deployed for the presence of the Prime Minister.
On Monday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself reached Ayodhya. He inspected the ongoing arrangements in the temple premises and took information from the officials about the final preparations.
At around 10 am, PM Modi will go to Saptamandir and pay homage to Maharishi Vashishtha, Vishwamitra, Agastya, Valmiki, Devi Ahilya, Nishadraj Guha and Mata Shabari temple.
The flag hoisting has been kept in accordance with the Panchami of Shukla Paksha of Margashirsha month and the Abhijeet Muhurta of the marriage Panchami of Lord Ram-Sita. A 10-foot-high and 20-foot-long triangular flag will be hoisted with 'Om' inscribed with the shining sun symbol and the shape of the Kovidara tree. This flag gives the message of the ideals of Ramrajya and cultural unity.
The flag will be hoisted on the Nagara-style spire of the temple, while the 800-meter-long perimeter of the temple complex is based on South Indian architecture. 87 scenes from Valmiki's Ramayana are carved on the outer walls of the main building, and 79 bronze scenes related to Indian culture are decorated on the walls of the ramparts.
The entire Ayodhya has been converted into a cantonment. Police, commandos, and special security units are deployed everywhere in the city. The bomb detection team, sniper, anti-drone unit, mines team, fire unit, patrolling unit, ambulance, and high-response van will remain continuously active.
A total of 6970 security personnel have been deployed, including traffic, technical, and civil police and special forces.
