The accused has been identified as Indushekhar. Police have recovered the body of seven-year-old child Puneet, while the search for the bodies of other deceased is going on. The accused reportedly confessed to killing seven people during interrogation. However, the police are verifying his claims.

How did such a big incident happen due to a family dispute?

According to preliminary investigation, the accused, Indushekhar, was angry over his wife Sunita's constant contact with her maternal family. It is being told that both of them got married about 20 years ago and there were often disputes between them regarding this matter. The family members tried several times to bring about reconciliation between the two, but tension remained in their relationship. Police suspect that the accused was angry with his wife getting support from her mother and brothers. This family dispute allegedly took the form of such a big incident.

Who became the victims of the brutality of the accused?

According to the police, the deceased include the accused's wife Sunita, mother-in-law Roopvati, brothers-in-law Shivkumar and Shankar, sisters-in-law Divya and Nalini and Shankar's seven-year-old son. Preliminary investigation has revealed that the accused allegedly murdered his wife first. After this he called both his friends home on the pretext of a party. It is alleged that he murdered her too and then targeted other family members.

How was the incident carried out in two days?

According to police sources, the accused first murdered Sunita with a knife and wrapped her body in a cloth and threw it near Nandi Hills. After this he switched off Sunita's mobile phone and told the neighbours that she had gone somewhere. The next day he called his friends Shivkumar and Shankar to his house on the pretext of a party. It is alleged that after killing both of them, he also killed their wives, his mother-in-law and seven-year-old Puneet. According to investigators, the accused had allegedly used chemicals to remove blood stains in the house. Police have recovered the car used to transport the dead bodies and the cob used in the crime.
