Upendra Kushwaha Expresses His Pain Over NDA Seat Sharing, Apologizes to Supporters (X)

Upendra Kushwaha's emotional appeal: Seats in the NDA have been divided regarding the Bihar Assembly elections. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's party, JDU, and BJP have decided to contest elections on 101 seats each out of 243 seats. Apart from this, Chirag Paswan's party has been given 29 seats, while Upendra Kushwaha and Jitan Ram Manjhi have gotten only 6 seats each. Since getting fewer seats, the resentment of Kushwaha and Manjhi has come out in a subdued tone.

Upendra Kushwaha issued a message to his party workers, apologizing for receiving only six seats. He wrote on the social media platform X, "Dear friends/colleagues, I apologize to all of you. The number of seats was not as per your expectations. I understand that this decision will upset thousands and lakhs of people who wished to be candidates for my party. Many homes may not have cooked food today. But you all understand my and my party's constraints and limitations."

Some situations are not visible from outside—Kushwaha

Kushwaha further wrote that there are many circumstances behind any decision, some of which are visible from the outside and some of which are not. He said that the anger among party workers is natural because of this but urged that it be allowed to subside. He indicated that everything will become clear in time.

During the seat sharing in NDA, all the parties had expressed their claims. Upendra Kushwaha had demanded a total of 24 seats but got only 6 seats. This is why he expressed his displeasure in a hushed tone and indicated that the rift is not over yet. This may increase further in the coming days.
