Cabinet Approves Rs 12,000-Crore Expansion Of Delhi Metro With 13 New Stations (X @amitabhnews18)
New Delhi: In a major breakthrough, the Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved Phase-VA of the Delhi Metro Rail Project. It has paved the way for a major expansion of the capital’s rapid transit network. Under this phase, 13 new stations will be constructed, including 10 underground and three elevated stations.
The project will be completed over a period of three years and will cover a total length of 16 km. With an estimated cost of Rs 12,015 crore, the expansion will take the overall Delhi Metro network beyond 400 km.
Cabinet chaired by PM Narendra Modi approved Expansion of Delhi Metro ‐12K crore Delhi Metro 65 Lakh commuters, 395 KM, 13 stations--10 underground & 3 elevated. The 16 km project to be completed in 3 Years Delhi Metro will cross 400 kms now.
