'Deeply shocked': PM Modi Extends Condolences as 10 killed in Canada mass shooting (X)

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has extended his condolences after 10 people got killed in Canada mass shooting. Taking to X, PM Modi expressed his shock after the incident.

In his X post, PM Modi wrote, ''Deeply shocked by the horrendous shooting in Canada. I extend my heartfelt condolences to the families who have lost their loved ones and wish a speedy recovery to the injured. India stands in solidarity with the people of Canada in this moment of profound grief.''

Notably, six people were found dead at a high school in British Columbia, Canada, after a shooting on Tuesday. Meanwhile another person died while he was being rushed to the hospital.

According to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), the suspect also died, apparently from a self-inflicted injury. As per police, the shooting occurred at Tumbler Ridge Secondary School in British Columbia’s Peace region.

As per the reports, ten dead after shooter opened fire at Canadian high school. Meanwhile, mass shooting took place at school and another location in British Columbia. As per the reports, public alert described the shooter as a female in a dress with brown hair. Incident among the most deadly mass casualty events in recent Canadian history. A suspected shooter also found dead from what appeared to be a self‑inflicted injury, as per the reports.
