Bengaluru: An awkward situation arose at a Karnataka Congress program when Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge got angry at the workers who were raising slogans in support of Chief Minister DK Shivakumar. During the assuming charge ceremony of the new State Congress President BK Hariprasad, the workers were continuously raising slogans of 'DK-DK'. When the sloganeering did not stop despite several attempts, Kharge reprimanded them from the stage and asked them to remain silent and sit down. In the video, Chief Minister DK Shivkumar was also seen trying to pacify the workers. He appealed to the supporters with hand gestures to sit down and stop sloganeering. However, the noise continued for some time, after which Kharge had to adopt a strict tone.
