Hindu-Jewish Alliance Poses Threat to Pakistan and Muslims (Facebook)

Islamabad: Iran's senior security official Mohsin Rezai has made a big claim about Pakistan's Army Chief General Asim Munir. According to Rezai, Asim Munir has described the growing relations between Hindus and Jews as a threat not only to Pakistan but to the entire Muslim world. The remarks were made during the security meeting of the four countries held in Tehran on October 26. However, this alleged statement of Munir has not been independently confirmed.

In an interview given to Iranian state media, Mohsin Rezai shared many important things related to the meeting. Representatives of Pakistan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Iran participated in this meeting. The main topics of discussion were regional security and possible Israeli activities.

Which countries participated in the Tehran meeting?

This four-nation security meeting held in Tehran on October 26 was attended by Pakistan's Army Chief General Asim Munir, Turkey's Intelligence Chief Ibrahim Kalin, Saudi Arabia's Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman and Iran's Mohsin Rezai.

According to Rezai, concern was expressed in the meeting that after Iran, Israel may also target other countries in the region. During this, all the representatives expressed their views on issues related to regional security.

What did Asim Munir say about Hindu-Jewish alliance?

According to Mohsin Rezai's claim, Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir also mentioned the emerging alliance between Hindus and Jews along with the threat from Israel. He reportedly described it as against the interests of Muslims and Pakistan.

Rezai said that Munir had expressed concern over this issue in the meeting. However, this statement is currently based on Rezai's interview and its independent confirmation has not surfaced.

What concerns did Saudi Arabia and Turkey express about Israel?

Rezai told in the interview that Saudi Arabia's Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman also expressed concern about Israel's possible strategy. According to him, Khalid bin Salman said that after Iran, Israel can target Turkey and after that it can be Saudi Arabia's turn.

Turkish intelligence chief Ibrahim Kalin reportedly expressed similar concerns. Regional security and Israel's activities were discussed in the meeting.

Has Asim Munir already given a statement on Hindu-Muslim differences?

Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir has earlier also mentioned the religious and cultural differences between Hindu and Muslim communities. A few days before the Pahalgam terrorist attack in April 2025, he had talked about the difference in religion, traditions, customs and thoughts of the two communities. During this time he also mentioned the two-nation theory.

Why is Pakistan troubled by India-Israel friendship?

Cooperation between India and Israel has increased over the years in areas such as defence, intelligence sharing, counter-terrorism operations, trade, agriculture and technology.

During Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Israel in February 2026, both countries had given the status of special strategic partnership to their relations. At the same time, during Operation Sindoor in May 2025, Israel supported India's right to self-defence.

In such a situation, Pakistan's concerns regarding the growing strategic relations between India and Israel have once again come into discussion. However, Mohsin Rezai's claim regarding Asim Munir's alleged statement is yet to be independently confirmed.
