New Delhi: A relentless pursuit for terrorists unfolds in the rugged terrains of Jammu and Kashmir's Reasi district after a brutal attack on a bus transporting pilgrims to the revered Mata Vaishno Devi shrine. In response to the heinous act, authorities have apprehended over 20 individuals for interrogation, suspecting the involvement of Pakistani militants entrenched in the mountains. According to reports, Lashkar-e-Taiba commander Abu Hamza in orchestrating the assault, with four terrorists. Reports also suggested the involvement of a local man.

A comprehensive search operation is in progress, deploying 11 teams comprising police, Army, and CRPF personnel. These units are strategically stationed across the Ranso-Poni-Treyath region, augmented by a multi-directional cordon to prevent escape routes.
