National News: This time the effect of severe heat has not been felt much in Delhi-NCR so far. Whenever the temperature started to rise, the weather suddenly changed and storm and rain broke the heat. A similar scene was seen again on Tuesday evening, when thick clouds covered the sky and strong winds started blowing with thunder and lightning.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted rain and thunder in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Bihar for the next four days.

Relief shower in hilly states too

Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand are also going to get relief from the rising heat. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be a change in the weather in these areas in the coming days with heavy rain and thunder. Due to this, the temperature will drop and people will get some relief from the heat.

Monsoon reached Bay of Bengal and Andaman

On Tuesday, the Meteorological Department informed that the southwest monsoon has knocked in the southern parts of the Bay of Bengal, southern and northern parts of the Andaman Sea and many parts of the Nicobar Islands. This monsoon is moving rapidly towards Kerala and is expected to reach Kerala by May 27.

The special thing is that if this forecast proves to be correct, then this will be the first time since 2009 that the monsoon will knock in Kerala ahead of time.

Satellite data and wind speed indicated

According to the IMD report, moderate to heavy rainfall has been recorded in the Nicobar Islands in the last two days. Also, the speed of westerly winds has increased to more than 20 knots up to 1.5 km above sea level, which is a clear indication of the activity of the monsoon.

Along with this, there has been a decline in outgoing longwave radiation (OLR), which indicates the favorableness of cloud formation and rainfall in the region.

Monsoon: Lifeline of Indian agriculture and economy

Monsoon is not just a weather in India, but a lifeline. About 42 percent of the country's population depends on agriculture and agriculture contributes around 18 percent to the GDP. Monsoon is the main source of filling the reservoirs needed for agricultural production, drinking water supply and power generation.

IMD had predicted in April itself that the monsoon of 2025 would be better than normal, and the possibility of the effect of El Nino was ruled out. This is a big relief news for the farmers of the country.

Monsoon activated before time, shower of relief and hope

This time the monsoon is becoming active fast and before time in the country. The mood of the weather has changed from Delhi-NCR to Andaman-Nicobar. This rain in the coming days will not only provide relief from the heat but will also have a positive impact on agriculture, water storage and economic stability.
