MSP 2025 (Social media)
National News: If the soul of India resides in the villages, then its heartbeat runs on MSP, roads, and railway tracks. The decisions taken by the central government on Tuesday are not just figures, but a hearing of the expectations of crores of Indians who sweat in the fields and rely on trains to reach work in the cities on time.
The government has approved the increase in the minimum support price (MSP) on 14 Kharif crops. The special thing is that now farmers will definitely get at least 50% profit on their cost. An amount of ₹2.07 lakh crore has been set for this scheme. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said, "We have not just increased the prices; we have given value to the dignity of the farmers."
The Modified Interest Subsidy Scheme (MISS) related to agricultural loans has been re-implemented for 2025-26. This means that farmers will now be able to get short-term loans at just 1.5% interest. This decision will give a lifeline to lakhs of small farmers who are burdened with high interest.
The cabinet has approved the construction of the 108 km long four-lane Badvel-Nellore highway in Andhra Pradesh. ₹3653.10 crore will be spent on this. This project will not just build a road but will prove to be a new lifeline for industry, agriculture, and tourism.
Two multitracking railway projects have been given the green signal-
These projects will cover four districts of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh and will upgrade a total of 176 km of rail network.
It is not just announcements; it is a guarantee of ground action Through these five decisions, the government has made it clear that its priority is not just “structure” but “sensitivity.” Making the farmer self-reliant, giving fast and safe travel to the common man, and connecting the states with road and rail connectivity—this is a sign of multi-engine development, not a double engine.
This cabinet decision of 2025 is not just a meeting but the first draft of the new script of India's future, in which the farmer smiles, the roads gallop, and the trains arrive on time. The government has now taken the talk of development out of PowerPoint and has directly brought it to the farms, roads, and stations.
