Jharkhand News: During a rally in Jamshedpur on Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a sharp critique of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) government, accusing it of facilitating the influx of Rohingyas and Bangladeshi migrants. Modi warned that the indigenous Adivasi population in the Santhal Pargana region is rapidly declining, with lands being seized and infiltrators taking control of local governance positions. He further raised concerns about the rising crimes against women, attributing this to the increasing presence of illegal immigrants.

Infiltration threatens Jharkhand’s security

Modi underscored that the greatest challenge facing Jharkhand is the unchecked infiltration of migrants. “Parents of young girls are living in fear. The Jharkhand High Court has even ordered an independent investigation into the matter, but the JMM government continues to ignore this reality,” Modi said. He pointed to the rapid demographic changes in Santhal Pargana and Kolhan, driven by the influx of Rohingyas and Bangladeshis.

JMM’s alleged ties with extremists

The Prime Minister went on to accuse the JMM of empowering extremists and infiltrators within the party, attributing this shift to Congress’s influence. “When Congress dominates a party, appeasement becomes their main focus, and they start building their voter base on religious lines,” Modi claimed. He labeled the JMM, Congress, and RJD as “enemies of Jharkhand,” stating that their policies have endangered the state’s security and integrity. In conclusion, Modi called for immediate action to address the infiltration crisis, asserting that the safety of Jharkhand’s residents, particularly women, is at stake.
