PM Narendra Modi Inaugurates Airport Terminal in Purnia; Launches Rs 36,000 Crore Projects

PM Modi Bihar Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is in the poll-bound state of Bihar, has inaugurated the interim terminal building of the new Purnia airport. Prime Minister also inaugurated multiple development projects worth approximately Rs 36,000 crore. 

The new airport inaugurated by the PM is located in the Simanchal area, meant to boost the development. PM's visit to Bihar drew much criticism from many leaders of opposition. Reacting to PM's visit, Tejashwi Yadav said, "He should come and look at the medical college of Purnia, what state it is... instead of coming and inaugurating new projects."

PM Modi in Purnia

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is in Purnia, Bihar, will also flag off the Jogbani-Patna Vande Bharat Express. Later, he will also address a public gathering at Gulabbag. In his address, PM Modi said, "Today, projects worth about 40 thousand crores have been inaugurated and foundation stone laid for the development of Bihar. These projects related to railways, airport, electricity, water will become a medium to fulfill the dreams of Seemanchal. Today, more than 40 thousand beneficiaries have also got permanent houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. There has been a new beginning in the lives of these families."

PM Modi To Infiltrators

PM Modi also said that today the demography of Seemanchal including some states of the country has gone haywire. When a campaign was launched from the Red Fort to save it, the Congress people started taking out processions to save it. They are raising slogans in favour of the infiltrators. I challenge the leaders who are coming forward to save the infiltrators.

PM further added that action will be taken against the intruders and the country will see its positive consequences. He stated that RJD-Congress are in support of intruders and people of Bihar will give them a reply.
