Government has opened 125 border projects in one mega event.This shows urgency to make border strong.All projects cost nearly five thousand crore rupees.They are spread in many states like Ladakh, J&K, Himachal and Arunachal.They will speed troop movement and improve logistics.Local youth will get new jobs due to faster travel.The government says this push will change border life forever.

The star project is the Shyok Tunnel on DS-DBO Road.It is 920-meter long and built in extreme geography.This tunnel keeps the road open all seasons.Even in heavy snow or minus temperature, army can move.Tunnel saves time and stops risk from avalanches.This road leads to Daulat Beg Oldie, near China border.Rajnath called it an engineering wonder in the world.
Projects launched also cover Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Sikkim and Northeast.These areas earlier faced slow movement in monsoon and winter.Now roads and bridges will help quick action near border.Villagers can sell products and reach hospitals faster.It will push tourism in remote mountains.This builds confidence of people in democracy.Government wants border citizens to feel equal part of India.
He mentioned Operation Sindoor to show importance of logistics.That mission worked smoothly because army reached on time.Civil administration and border villagers helped together.This teamwork is India’s biggest strength.Roads made by BRO make such coordination fast.In disasters also, rescue teams reach immediately.BRO proves itself more than a construction agency every time.
India is pushing self-reliance in defence production.Rajnath said India now makes defence goods worth 1.5 lakh crore.Exports touched twenty-four thousand crore this year.BRO adopted indigenous Class-70 modular bridges too.This shows engineering power of Indian companies.BRO spent record 16,690 crore last year.It targets 18,700 crore next year to boost trust and speed.
