India Warns Pakistan (X)

On the day of Dussehra, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh warned Pakistan in the Sir Creek area that if there is any audacity there, India will give such a decisive reply that both history and geography will change. He said that Pakistan should remember that one of the routes to Karachi passes through Sir Creek.

Army Chief Takes Tough Stance

A day later, Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi stated that if Pakistan wants its place in the geography, it must stop spreading terrorism. Referring to Operation 2.0, General Dwivedi said, "Next time, there will be no restraint. We will change Pakistan's geography." His statement has raised questions about India's next strategy.

Home Minister held a meeting on Jammu and Kashmir security

Even before these statements, Home Minister Amit Shah held a big meeting on the security of Jammu and Kashmir. Following the strong statements from the defense minister and army chief, this meeting became a signal of India's preparedness in the eyes of people on social media.

Social Media Discussion: 'The Government is Preparing'

Many users on the social media platform X wrote that statements by the defense minister, army chief, and foreign ministry, as well as Amit Shah's meeting, are clear indications that the government is preparing to change Pakistan's geography.

Historical Context: Operation Gulmarg and PoK

According to Defense Analyst Lieutenant Colonel (Retd) JS Sodhi, under Operation Gulmarg, Pakistan had captured one-third of Jammu and Kashmir with the help of tribals. If India had not gone to the United Nations at that time, the situation would have been different today. PoK is strategically important for India, as it is adjacent to Jammu and Kashmir as well as the borders with Pakistan, Afghanistan, and China. About 3 million people live in this area of about 13 thousand square km.

Experts Warn: China May Also Join the War Over PoK

Sodhi said that acquiring PoK will not be easy. Citing statements by former army chiefs, he said that no one has won a two-front war easily. If India launches an operation for PoK, it faces the possibility of interference not only from Pakistan but also from China. Citing recent wars between Russia and Israel, he said that success in a protracted war is not immediate, so capturing PoK will not be easy.
