Chennai: The 63rd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 was played at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, witnessing a fierce clash between the hosts, Chennai Super Kings, and Sunrisers Hyderabad. The match remained a nail-biter right up until the 19th over, but ultimately, Sunrisers Hyderabad managed to emerge victorious. Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Chennai Super Kings by 5 wickets. With this win, Sunrisers Hyderabad secured their spot in the IPL playoffs.

Chasing a target of 181 runs, Sunrisers Hyderabad got off to a very poor start.
