AIIMS Resident Doctors Celebrate Diwali With 115 Children At Taare Zameen Foundation In New Delhi

New Delhi: The true meaning of Diwali lies not only in decorating homes with lamps and illuminating them with lights but also in spreading happiness to those whose lives often have fewer joyful moments. Setting a beautiful example of compassion and the spirit of service, representatives of the Resident Doctors' Association (RDA) of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, visited Taare Zameen Foundation and celebrated Diwali with children.

Diwali Celebrated with 115 Children, Including 18 Orphans

 Resident doctors and members of the resident community enthusiastically participated in the special celebration. The event brought Diwali joy to a total of 115 children residing at or associated with the foundation, including 18 orphaned children. The occasion proved to be a memorable celebration for the children. Their cheerful smiles and enthusiasm filled the event with warmth and emotion.

Sweets, Snacks and Traditional Diyas Distributed Among Children

 During the celebration, refreshments, sweets, delicious savoury snacks, and traditional Diwali diyas were distributed among the children. Their happiness upon receiving gifts and sweets was evident. Amid the festive atmosphere, the children enthusiastically enjoyed the special occasion. The objective of the event was not merely to distribute items but also to make the children feel a sense of belonging, affection, and connection with society.

AIIMS RDA Highlights Social Responsibility Beyond Hospitals

 The initiative by AIIMS RDA representatives conveyed the message that the responsibilities of medical professionals are not limited to hospitals and patients.
