New Delhi: The investigation into Twisha Sharma death case has now reached a new turn. Amidst the investigation, the first picture of the place where Twisha was found dead has emerged. As per media reports, this picture is of the upper part of the house in Bhopal, where the incident took place. This case has been in the news continuously since Twisha's death on May 10. From the very beginning, the family has been accusing the in-laws of mental torture, dowry pressure and negligence in investigation.

Did the stir increase after the High Court notice arrived?

On Saturday, a police officer reached the house of Twisha's mother-in-law Giribala Singh with a High Court notice. The officer told in a brief conversation with the media that the notice is related to this matter. However, he refused to give more information and said that further information will be given by senior officials. Shortly after the notice was served, Siddharth Singh, brother of main accused Samarth Singh, was seen coming out of the house with a team of lawyers.

Was the husband caught by the police after several days?

A major development in this case came to light on Friday when Twisha's husband Samarth Singh was detained by the police. After Twisha's death, he was said to be missing for about 10 days. Bhopal Police Commissioner Sanjay Kumar confirmed that Samarth Singh has been arrested and will be produced in court as per legal process. According to police officials, he was arrested from Jabalpur. The police is now preparing to seek his remand from the court so that the investigation in the case can be carried forward.

Is the family continuously demanding an independent investigation?

Twisha's family has raised the demand for an impartial investigation in this case since the beginning. The family alleges that Twisha was being mentally tortured and was also being pressurized for dowry. The family members had also raised questions on the initial investigation and post-mortem process. Later he approached the High Court demanding an independent investigation and re-postmortem.

Is the case moving towards CBI investigation?

Amidst the growing controversy and continuously arising questions regarding the case, the Madhya Pradesh government has recommended a CBI investigation. Many petitions related to this case are also being heard in the High Court. The lawyer representing Twisha's family said that the next hearing is to be held on May 25.
