The fire broke out in a flat on the eighth floor of the multi-storey building, which spread to three floors.  A short circuit is suspected to be the cause of the fire.

Massive Fire Breaks Out At Ghaziabad Society; 25 people rescued (X)

Noida: A massive fire broke out in a flat at the Gaur Green Avenue Society in the Abhay Khand area of Ghaziabad's Indirapuram, early Wednesday morning. The fire was so severe that the smoke was visible from a distance. Fire brigade vehicles arrived at the scene as soon as the fire was reported. 

Where did the incident happen?

According to the fire department, a massive fire broke out in the Green Avenue Society flat of Indirapuram area. Several fire engines were sent to the scene to extinguish the blaze. 

As per reports, a massive fire broke out on three floors of the society building. Floors number 9, 10, and 11 are the most severely engulfed. People trapped on those floors are being rescued. 

What did Yogi Adityanath say?

Taking cognizance of the incident, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed officials to take immediate action.

How many people were rescued?

According to reports, around 25 people have been rescued. An elderly person has also been injured. The SDRF team has also been called for relief and rescue work. People living in the society said that everyone was evacuated in time. No one is trapped.
