Tech News: Reliance Jio has announced a unique initiative at the India Mobile Congress 2025. The telecom giant launched a free AI Classroom, a four-week foundation program designed to make Indians “AI Ready.” This course has been created in collaboration with Jio Institute and JioPC, giving learners the chance to explore Artificial Intelligence basics. Jio aims to empower both students and professionals by teaching them how to use AI effectively in studies, business, and real-life situations.
The AI Classroom is not just about theory. Participants will get access to advanced AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Suno.AI, Adobe Express, and ElevenLabs. Learners will also be asked to build projects using these platforms, making their learning practical and useful. Each week includes guided sessions and assignments, ensuring that participants gain hands-on knowledge rather than just reading about AI concepts.
Although the course is targeted at students, it is equally useful for working professionals who want to upgrade their skills. Jio has promised that everyone who completes the course will receive a digital badge, while those completing it through JioPC will be awarded an official certificate from Jio Institute. This makes the course valuable for resumes, academic growth, and career development.

and click on the “Register For Free” option. After filling in personal details like name, mobile number, pin code, and address, learners can confirm their enrollment. Once registered, participants will be able to choose their preferred lecture slots according to convenience.
The AI Classroom will provide one-hour lectures every week, starting from October 11, 2025. Jio has offered multiple time slots daily—9:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 4:00 PM, 6:00 PM, and 9:00 PM. Learners can attend sessions at any suitable time, making it flexible for students with busy schedules or professionals managing work alongside learning.
Jio has clarified that this course is open for everyone, not limited to students with high-end devices. Anyone with a laptop, computer, or JioPC setup can apply. The JioPC service converts any screen or TV into a personal computer using Jio’s set-top box, making it easier for households without laptops to still access the AI Classroom.
Jio’s AI Classroom marks a major step in India’s digital education journey. With global demand for AI skills growing, this initiative will prepare lakhs of Indians for the future.
