I had said: 'I’ll pick up bricks and do manual labor. I’ll cook rotis to earn a living. As long as there is life left in me, I will do whatever it takes. I won't take my own life. I am not that weak.' What exactly did I say wrong? Yet, you people—just for the sake of views—zeroed in on a single line. You people ruthlessly tear apart a person's character. You subject people to such severe mental harassment. It’s a good thing I am strong. I will do whatever is necessary to survive—but I will not die."

In the video, she had stated: "Speaking as a mother—and this is a significant statement—if raising my child requires me to sleep with someone, I will do even that. But I will provide for my child. I am not wrong. I have firmly resolved in my mind that I simply have to work."
