Rajkot Woman's Shocking 'Couple Swapping' Allegations Against Husband Spark Nationwide Debate

Rajkot: A Gujarat woman from Rajkot had been in a spotlight as she sparked a debate on consent, society and morality. She alleged that his husband tried to drag into the alleged "Couple swapping" network. This happened just after three months of their wedding.

Further, she claimed that when she denied to be a part of it, she had to go through the domestic violence. Following the incident, she had filed a police complaint. The social media post clai9ming all these incidents had gained a widespread attention and the post went viral on platform 'X'.

What the woman had claimed?

As per the woman, they both married in 2022 in Surat and just after three months of their wedding, her husband started pushing her to be the part of it. He proposed that he and several other connected in a Facebook-based-network. According to her, he was asserting this and manipulating that the class and financial condition will improve. It will provide entertainment, along with help them to meet new people. Although she denied right away after listening this.

According to a media report, she said that the participants make fake profiles on Facebook using different names. They upload fake photos of the couples as a profile picture. When people going through it, started attracting and led to interacting through the platforms. She described the process that after seeing all this, I became scared. My husband came to me with such proposal and i resisted to take part of it.

She made several other allegations that the couples initially exchange their photographs and for the confirmation, they also do the video calls before meeting among each others. As per her claim, the gathering consists the physical intimacy based discussions and when couple agreed, they go for pre-booked rooms.

Such trips are organized two to three times every month which attracts both the affluent and middle class participants. Middle class participants offered Rs. 20,000 sometimes for just a single night. This network initially was of 4-5 couples, slowly expanded to 15 couples. But now more than 400 couples are part of it.
