Bulandshahr: A bizarre case of alleged harassment has emerged from Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh. A woman named Kamlesh, residing in Delhi, has filed a police complaint against her daughter-in-law for unwanted sexual advances.

Unconventional love triangle

The situation takes a startling turn as Kamlesh accuses her daughter-in-law of harboring romantic feelings towards her. According to Kamlesh, her daughter-in-law, married to her son Akash two years ago, began distancing herself from him soon after the wedding.

"I love you, not my husband"

Kamlesh alleges that her daughter-in-law confessed feelings of love for her, expressing a desire for a physical relationship. Kamlesh, understandably distraught, attempted to explain the inappropriateness of the situation.

Citing same-sex marriage as justification

The narrative thickens further when Kamlesh claims her daughter-in-law used the prevalence of same-sex marriage as justification for their unconventional relationship. This highlights a potential misunderstanding of the concept of same-sex marriage, which involves romantic partnerships between consenting adults, not familial relations.

Threats and desperation

Fearing social stigma and legal repercussions, Kamlesh further alleges that her daughter-in-law threatened suicide and false rape accusations against her son if her demands weren't met.

In-laws remain indifferent

Seeking support, Kamlesh approached her daughter-in-law's family. Shockingly, they reportedly dismissed the claims, attributing it to mere infatuation.

Seeking justice

Left with no other option, Kamlesh approached the Bulandshahr police. The authorities are currently investigating the case based on her complaint.
