Over 15 AIADMK MLAs Shifted to Puducherry Resort Amid Tamil Nadu Govt Formation Uncertainty (X)
Chennai: The government formation crisis in Tamil Nadu is still unresolved. Actor-turned-politician Viajy's Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) has 108 seats, however, as it does not have the required strength of 118 to form the government, its claim to form the government was rejected by Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar.
Now according to sources, about 15 AIADMK MLAs have been shifted to a resort in Puducherry under the supervision of Rajya Sabha MP and senior party leader CV Shanmugam to prevent any possible breach.
Amidst all this, the AIADMK on Wednesday has shifted its 15 MLAs to a resort in Puducherry. According to sources, senior AIADMK leader CV Shanmugam, a Rajya Sabha MP and an aide of party chief Edappadi K Palaniswami has booked 20 rooms at the Shore Trishvam resort in Puducherry.
Many MLAs have already reached Puducherry, while others are on their way.

Meanwhile, there are reports that discussions are also going on between AIADMK and DMK. No official information has come out about this yet. .
The people of Tamil Nadu gave Thalapathy Vijay's party the most support this time, but the majority figure is 118. Vijay's party has received the support of five Congress MLAs, bringing his tally to 113.
When Vijay approached the Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar
to stake claim to form a government, he had to return empty-handed due to insufficient numbers. Taking advantage of this opportunity, behind-the-scenes negotiations have now begun between MK Stalin's DMK and the AIADMK. AIADMK sources say they may support the DMK to stop Vijay, although Stalin still has to make the final decision.
If this alliance becomes a reality, there are three main paths. The first scenario is that the entire DMK and AIADMK alliance comes together, but this is a bit difficult because the DMK has Congress on its side and the AIADMK has the BJP on its side. The second, and most likely scenario, is that the DMK alliance directly enters into an agreement with the AIADMK. This would give them 120 MLAs, two more than the majority. The third possibility is that the Congress drops out of the game and the DMK joins the AIADMK in forming a government, bringing the tally to 119.
