Kia India has started the festive season with big savings for car buyers. The company is offering special pre-GST discounts along with festive benefits on select models. Customers can save up to Rs 2.25 lakh under this scheme. These limited-time offers are valid until 22 September 2025, just before the new GST 2.0 rules come into force.

Discount Up to Rs 2.25 Lakh

According to the company, the benefit of this scheme will differ from dealership to dealership. For example, the highest benefit of up to Rs 2.25 lakh is being given on the Kia Seltos in Kerala. Meanwhile, buyers of the recently launched Carens Clavis in Tamil Nadu are getting a discount of up to Rs 1.55 lakh.

Savings Benefit Up to Rs 1.30 Lakh

On the standard Kia Carens MPV as well, customers will get savings benefits of up to ₹1.30 lakh. These offers include pre-GST discounts of up to ₹58,000 and festive benefits of up to ₹1.67 lakh.

Company’s Statement

Regarding this, the vehicle manufacturer has clarified that it will pass on the full benefit of the new GST 2.0 tax structure to the people. Recently, the GST Council has made changes to simplify the tax structure for the auto sector. Now two main slabs of 5% and 18% will be applicable on vehicles. Apart from this, a special tax of 40% has been fixed on luxury cars, SUVs, and bikes above 350cc.

Cess Completely Removed Now

The most important point in this is that the previously applicable compensation cess has now been completely removed. With these changes, Kia has got the opportunity to give a price cut of up to ₹4.48 lakh on its models. The combination of the festive season and reduced taxes is making it far more affordable for customers to buy cars than before.
