Global fame Mia Khalifa has now been dismissed from a podcast agreement with Todd Shapiro, a Canadian radio host and podcaster after her controversial remarks on the Israel-Palestine war drew a massive outrage on social media.

Mia Khalifa’s podcast show cancelled over pro-Palestine post

Basically, Khalifa’s remarks, which she shared on X, on this ongoing war received a major backlash for her insensitive post.

Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter), Khalifa stated, “If you can’t side with the Palestinians when looking at the situation, then you’re on the wrong side of apartheid, and history will prove this over time.”

She also urged Palestinian freedom fighters to record their experiences horizontally in another post.

Shapiro’s stance on Mia Khalifa’s posts

Responding to this, Shapiro expressed his disgust and immediately terminated her involvement in the podcast. He described her tweet as disgusting and called on her to strive for personal growth and better humanity.

Shapiro’s response reads, “This is such a horrendous tweet, Mia Khalifa. Consider yourself fired effective immediately. It’s simply disgusting. Beyond disgusting. Please evolve and become a better human being. The fact that you are condoning death, rape, beatings, and hostage-taking is truly gross. No words can explain your ignorance.”

Meanwhile, Mia Khalifa’s tweets have sparked a major conversation within netizens, condemning her insensitive stance on the ongoing Israel-Palestine war. Some users predicted that her post would not age well, while others pointed out the atrocities committed by those she referred to as “freedom fighters.”

Khalifa reacts to this backlash

Now, in response to the backlash, Khalifa has clarified that her remarks did not incite violence in any way. She defended her use of the term “freedom fighters” to describe Palestinian citizens, stating that it accurately represented their struggle.

Further, she also revealed that her support for Palestine had cost her business opportunities, but expressed more regret about potentially doing business with Zionists.

Meanwhile, the Israel-Palestine war has claimed almost 1,600 lives on both sides, according to media reports.
