Macron calls Donald Trump: After his speech at United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), French President Emmanuel Macron was heading to the embassy, when he was stopped by the New York police on Monday. Notably, he was was stopped by the police to allow the convoy of US President Donald Trump to pass.
A social media post of NEXTA TV showcasing the video of the same stated, ''Awkward moment: Macron stopped in New York because of Trump’s motorcade. Police who had blocked roads for Donald Trump’s motorcade mistakenly stopped the car of French President Emmanuel Macron. Macron got out of the vehicle, called Trump, and jokingly asked him to “clear the road.”
“I am sorry, Mr President. It is all blocked, now,” one of the policemen can be heard saying to Macron. Macron was noticed calling the US President in a light mode as he stood on the street when the police informed him that the President convy.

In the video, Macron was seen standing close to a barricade, in the presence of New York crowd, jokingly asked Trump to disperse. “How are you? Guess what happened? I am in the street waiting on you, you have everything closed,” Macron was discussing on a call with Trump.
Notably, Trump was in New York City to grace the 80th session of the UN General Assembly. He was there to address world leaders from the UNGA hall podium on Tuesday morning.
