Delhi: 17 Women Accuse Delhi Baba Of Molestation (X)
Delhi Baba Molestation Case: In a shocking update from South West Delhi's Vasant Kunj area, around 17 women have accused Swami Chaitanyananda Saraswati also known as Parthasarthi, of sexual harassment. Notably, he was the head of a prominent South Indian institution branch. It is to be noted that through his institution he used to conduct management courses and enrolls students in various courses.
Reportedly, Swami Chaitanyananda Saraswati is absconding. Reportedly, cases of sexual exploitation and fraud against Swami Chaitanyananda Saraswati, has been registered at the Vasant Kunj North police station in Southwest Delhi. Meanwhile, the police investigation has revealed various shocking details.
Notably, on August 4, 2025, P.A. Murali, administrator of the Sri Sringeri Math, filed a complaint alleging that Swami Chaitanyananda had misbehaved with female students, who were pursuing PGDM on EWS scholarships at the Sharada Institute of Indian Management (SRISIIM).
After the investigation in the case started, police recorded statements of as many as 32 female students, 17 of whom directly alleged that Swami had sent them obscene messages, used vulgar language, and physically assaulted them.
After several complaints were file at Vasant Kunj North police station against Baba under sections 75(2)/79/351(2) of the IPC. Police has examined the CCTV footage and raided the accused's hideouts several times, but failed to find him.
During the investigation, a Volvo car was recovered from the institute's basement. The car had a fake diplomatic number plate (39 UN 1). It was discovered that this car was also used by Swami Chaitanyananda. Another case has been registered in this matter.
A statement from the Sringeri Sharada Peetha was issued stating that they have cut all ties with Swami Chaitanyananda Saraswati. Dakshinamnaya Sri Sharada Peetha, Sringeri, issued a public statement stating that serious action has been taken against Swami Chaitanyananda Saraswati (formerly Swami Dr. Parthasarathy). The Peetha clearly stated that his conduct and activities were illegal, inappropriate, and against the interests of the Peetha.
The bench also informed that a complaint has been filed with the concerned authorities regarding the illegal activities of Swami Chaitanyananda Saraswati.
Additionally, the Sringeri Bench has clarified that the Sri Sharada Institute of Indian Management-Research (Vasant Kunj, New Delhi) is AICTE-accredited and operates under the Bench's jurisdiction. The Bench is governed by a Governing Council constituted by the Bench, headed by renowned educationist Dr. Krishna Venkatesh.
