International News: After Donald Trump's statement, relations between India and America may become normal again. Meanwhile, India's former ambassador to France and Monaco, Javed Ashraf, has given an important statement. According to him, India will have to get out of the mindset that it has to stand with any one group.

India is not a small or weak country that depends on external support. Javed Ashraf says, "India and Indians have to get out of the thinking that we should be in any one camp. We are a country that can stand in its own corner, can act on the basis of its values, principles and interests."

India’s Independent Foreign Policy Strength

He said India's strength lies in its independent policy and ability to balance relations with different countries on their merits. Ashraf said India has the capability to handle each relationship on its merits, not only with major powers but also when there are differences among them. "We have the capability to conduct our relations even with countries that have differences. Each relationship will be viewed on its merits," Ashraf stressed.

We Won’t Forget Russia China

Ashraf further said that normal and strong relations with the US does not mean that India has forgotten Russia or will not try to normalise its relations with China. He clarified, "If we return to normal relations with the US and remain the same partners that we have been, it does not mean that we have forgotten Russia or will not try to normalise relations with China."

Strengthening Ties With Russia China

He said that the goal of India's foreign policy is to promote global peace and cooperation. Strengthening relations with countries like Russia and China is important for India's national interests. This policy of India not only reflects its independence, but also underlines its growing role on the global stage. This approach of India makes it a power that can not only protect its interests, but can also contribute to global balance.
