Dubai: Three Indian nationals were injured in Iranian drone attacks that took place on Monday in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates. Iran carried out this drone attack by targeting the Fujairah oil industry zone. The drone attack sparked a fire in the industrial area, and efforts to extinguish it are still underway. UAE emergency response teams are present at the scene and are working to bring the blaze under control. Additionally, Iran also attacked an oil tanker near the UAE port, causing it to catch fire.
In a statement, the Fujairah Media Office reported that the three individuals sustained moderate injuries and have been admitted to a hospital for treatment. The office further stated that new information would be shared as it becomes available. Officials confirmed that the fire broke out following a drone attack originating from Iran. The situation at the oil facilities has been described as serious. Civil defense teams were immediately deployed to the site and remain on the scene, working to bring the fire under control.
Meanwhile, on Monday, another emergency siren warning of a potential missile attack sounded across the UAE, although the specific cause was not disclosed. This marked the second time such a siren had sounded on Monday. In recent weeks—following the US-Iran ceasefire—no such warnings had been issued. Officials have not provided detailed information regarding the two instances in which the siren was triggered. The situation was declared normal just minutes after the initial warning. There are no immediate reports of any casualties.
