Another instance of an Indian student being missing for the past week has been reported in the string of missing Indian students in the United States. The reports claim that Rupesh Chandra Chintakindi, a 25-year-old master's student, has gone missing. His family is making every effort to find him.

As per sources, the Consulate General of India in Chicago is in constant touch with the police and Indian diaspora to re-establish contact with Rupesh. He went missing from the 4300 black of N Sheridan Road.

Expressing concern over the issue, "The Consulate is deeply concerned learning that Indian student Rupesh Chandra Chintakindi has been incommunicado since 2nd May. The consulate is in touch with the police and the Indian diaspora hoping to locate/reestablish contact with Rupesh."

Meanwhile, the Chicago Police have urged people to help them locate Rupesh.

It is worth noting that this is not the first time that this kind of incident has been reported. Earlier in April, an Indian student Mohammed Abdul Arfath who went missing in March found dead in the US state of Ohio. Authorities have assured of the thorough investigation in the case.

The rise in the tragedies of the Indian students abroad has initiated several concerns. However, the Indian Consulate is following up with the cases of attacks on the Indian community.
