National News: A horrific accident occurred on Saturday afternoon in Farrukhabad district, Uttar Pradesh. A powerful explosion suddenly rocked The Sun Classes Library, located near Katiyar Cold Storage on Satanpur Mandi Road. The blast sent shockwaves through the area. One young man died on the spot, while six others, including five students, were seriously injured.
According to eyewitnesses, students were studying in the library around 3:30 pm on Saturday when a sudden explosion occurred. The blast was so powerful that the deceased youth was blown to pieces and several students were seriously injured. Bystanders immediately rushed the injured to Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, where they are currently undergoing treatment.
The intensity of the blast can be gauged from the fact that the building housing the coaching center was shaken violently. The furniture inside was completely damaged. The tin shed and pillars outside were toppled. Several bikes parked beneath the tin shed were also severely damaged. Wooden kiosks and other items stored nearby were also damaged.
Immediately after the explosion, panic gripped the entire area. Eyewitnesses reported a strong smell of gunpowder. The cause of the explosion is currently unclear. Authorities have sealed off the area and launched an investigation.
Upon receiving information about the incident, City Magistrate Sanjay Bansal and CO City Aishwarya Upadhyay arrived at the scene with police forces. A forensic team has also joined the investigation. Officials are trying to determine whether the blast was caused by an explosive material, a gas leak, or a short circuit.
Following this incident, panic gripped the entire area. Locals say that an explosion of this magnitude has never occurred before. People suspect that explosives may have been illegally stored in the library. Police are investigating every aspect and have assured strict action against the culprits.
