Viral News: A video of a dog sitter striking a German Shepherd with a belt close by has gone popular on social media. After learning about the incident from another caregiver who had captured it on camera, animal activist Vijay Rangare posted the video

About the viral video 

Regarding the widely shared video Two sides of the footage are combined in the first segment, which shows the dog sitter thrashing a German Shepherd while the dog is happily playing with another dog. The man then gets up, grabs a rein like a belt, and begins viciously beating the dogs. The activist slaps the dog sitter in the second segment of the video after learning about the event and discovering that the dog sitter was intoxicated.

Legal Action taken 

The incident was reported to Mumbai police, with written complaint along with the video recorded by other caretaker, and request the police to take charge and look over all the CCTV nearby to get evidence regarding the incident, and punish the caretaker who was drunk during working time ,as well to make him pay for his action

The videos caused different opinions among the people. Some commented that the physical action was not the best method of action, even if everyone agreed that the activist was correct to approach the owner of the pet center and the person who looked after the dog.
