Maharashtra: Toddler Vidhi Agrahari, two, falls to death when 20-year-old college student Harshad Gaurav, jostling with his friend, drops on her. The accident takes place on January 2 near the shop of the family-run business in Juhu where the accident takes place. She also warns Gaurav and his friend, but they keep playing around the toddler after they were told to move away. He fell when they were playing the game of push-and-pull. Head injuries were too serious for Vidhi. She was taken to Cooper Hospital. Here, Vidhi died on 4th January, that is, after two days of the accident. The police have filed a case against Gaurav under section 106 of the Indian Penal Code for death by negligence.A Grieved FamilyThe tragedy shocked Vidhis family to their hearts core as the little girls life was snatched away so brusquely. The two men had been requested by her mother to refrain from playing so roughly near the child, which they did not follow. Anger and anxiety are brought to the fore at the dangers of such reckless behavior, especially in public areas where children are present due to the killing of Vidhi. The police havent closed the case yet and have booked Gaurav in regard to the tragic incident.Murder in MaharashtraNot so kind for fate was either in Maharashtra, when a 25-year-old man, Rushikesh Sherkar, stands accused of having pushed his 17-year-old cousin Namrata Sherkar off a 500-foot-high cliff. This very ghastly killing appears to be done after they opposed the association of Namrata with someone from another religion. He took her to a deserted hill by talking of a counseling session there, threw her off that cliff, and committed the murder. The police are investigating that horrendous murder.
