Goa: In a major breakthrough in Goa nightclub fire incident, Saurabh and Gaurav Luthra, wanted in the case, that killed 25 people, have been detained in Thailand. Notably, the first images of their custody has emerged online.

In the viral image the Luthra brothers can be seen with their hands tied, clutching their passports and can be seen standing beside Thai police officers. Notably, two separate pics have been released on Thursday.

In a latest update in the Birch by Romeo Lane Fire incident, the arrested accused, Ajay Gupta has been produced in the Civil and Criminal Court in Goa. Notably, the Saket Court in Delhi granted a 36-hour transit remand of Ajay Gupta to the Goa Police yesterday.

Below are the visuals of the same:

It is to be noted here that the Luthras run the Romeo Lane restaurant chain with outlets across India as well as abroad. As per reports, they fled to Phuket just hours after a massive fire incident in the Birch by Romeo Lane nightclub in North Goa’s Arpora village. They are accused of charges of culpable homicide not amounting to murder and negligence.

Meanwhile, on the detention and deportation of Luthra Brothers from Thailand, AAP MP Sanjay Singh said, "They didn't just flee from India like that; there should also be an investigation into whose hands were involved in driving them away. Without the support of the BJP government, they couldn't have fled Goa.

''IndiGo flights are not available to people, the country's public is distressed, and the lives of 25 people were lost due to the negligence of those individuals—yet they fled from India using IndiGo, and the government couldn't do anything? It's good that they have been caught; bring them back quickly and take strict action," he added.
