As the ruling AAP continues to demonstrate against Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's arrest in connection to the liquor policy case, Delhi Minister Atishi said that even though the ED was holding Kejriwal, the minister was still aware of the issues and concerns facing the people of the nation's capital.

CM Arvind Kejriwal reportedly issued his first executive order on Sunday, following his arrest from ED custody.

While addressing a press conference on Sunday, Atishi read aloud from a copy of Kejriwal's order, "Even in this situation, he is not thinking about himself but the people of Delhi and their problems."

"I had tears in my eyes when I received this document with his guidance yesterday. Even in the face of such intense pressure, Arvind Kejriwal is someone who considers the everyday concerns of the public, such as water supply and sewage line cleaning', the AAP leader remarked.

Kejriwal was taken into custody by the Directorate of Enforcement (ED) on March 21, a few hours after the Delhi High Court denied his plea to stop the central investigation agency from using coercion against him.

The complaint relates to purported anomalies and money laundering during the development and execution of Delhi's since-canceled excise policy. Two prominent AAP leaders, Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh are already in custody in the same case.

Manjinder Singh Sirsa calls it a forged order

BJP National Secretary Manjinder Singh Sirsa on Sunday said that the letter that has been issued by AAP Minister Atishi through a press conference is forged. Sirsa said that according to the rules, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal can not issue any order from Enforcement Directorate's custody until court gives him permission.
