National News: Just a few hours after the announcement of the latest ceasefire between India and Pakistan, reports of drone attacks and firing from across the border have given new direction to diplomatic movements. At this sensitive turn, there was a significant conversation between India's National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval and China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi. This dialogue was not just bilateral, but is also considered to be related to global interests regarding the security and peace of South Asia.

First India-China high-level conversation after Pahalgam attack

This was the first high -level talks between India and China after the suicide terrorist attack in Pahalgam. According to China's Foreign Ministry, NSA Doval informed Wang Yi about the attack and informed India about the steps taken against terrorism. He clearly said that India does not want war, but will not compromise on its security.

Doval's message: War not in anyone's interest

Doval made it clear during this time that India's intention is not of war, as it will affect not only the region but also global stability. He hoped that the ceasefire that occurred between India and Pakistan will prove to be durable and will soon return stability in the region.

China's stance: tried to keep a dual role or balance?

Wang Yi strongly condemned the Pahalgam attack and spoke of global solidarity against terrorism. He emphasized the need to maintain peace in South Asia and said that China will help both India and Pakistan in this process. But on the other hand, in a conversation with Pakistan Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Wang Yi also assured Islamabad to "support support to protect sovereignty".

China's deepening close proximity with Pakistan

In this conversation, Wang Yi appreciated Pakistan's restraint and reiterated that China will remain strategic ally at every level of Pakistan. This statement comes at a time when Pakistan is constantly violating the ceasefire and is challenging India's security system.

New move of regional equations

One thing is clear from this entire diplomatic exercise - a new 'power triangle' between India, Pakistan and China seems to be emerging. While India is active for global support and regional stability against terrorism, China is seen in the role of strategic balance to Pakistan.
